Snowden Fire was started by lightning on June 7th, 2023, and is a little over half a mile northeast of Washington Creek Campground. It is approximately 100 acres, burning in mostly ponderosa pine and mixed conifer along Beaver Creek Road (NFSR #247).

Brushing and grading Beaver Creek Road (NFSR #247) and Shanghai Road (NFSR #250) from Canyon Work Center to Kelly Work Center.
