Weather:
Available moisture is fairly high today so storms will likely be mostly wet. There has been a trend for thunderstorms to have coverage farther to the north, into the Lolo NF, but most of the lightning is still expected in the Beaverhead-Deerlodge NF today. Thunderstorms are again expected Thursday afternoon with most of the activity in the Beaverhead- Deerlodge NF. Increased westerly winds remain on track for Friday, especially in northwest Montana
Prevention: As conditions continue to warm and fuels dry, people are reminded to be careful with all fires; be sure to extinguish campfires completely and to keep motorized vehicles on roads and trails.
