Around 5:30 p.m. on August 5th, Texas A&M Forest Service received a request for assistance for a fire approximately 1 mile West of Iowa Park off of HWY 287. Agency Crews are working in unified command with local responders. The Mack fire is reported to be very active with multiple structures threatened and crews are engaged in structure protection.
