On 3/03/2022 a wildfire started in Potter County off of Highway 287. Potter County Fire Rescue, National Parks Service, and Texas A&M Forest Service are on scene. Fire is estimated at 60 acres and growing. The Fain Gas plant has been evacuated at this time.
