The Summit Trail Fire is burning on the Colville Reservation, located 17 miles west of Inchelium, Washington. The fire began on July 12, 2021 as the result of a lightning storm that moved through the area.   The lightning-caused fire is burning in steep, rugged terrain with limited access.
