The Babb Fire is burning in tall grass, brush and timber. The fire is located 30 miles northwest of Colfax, Washington. The fire started at approximately 11:59 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2020. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Approximately 17,781 acres have burned. Bob Gear, Incident Commander for the Type 3 Team is managing the fire.
