On July 23, 2020 at approximately 7:00 pm, Texas A&M Forest Service was requested for assistance on a fire East of Hwy 163, North of Comstock in Val Verde County, Texas. Multiple fire departments from the surrounding area are participating in firefighting operations. Texas A&M Forest Service is in Unified Command with the local VFD.
