As conditions allowed, firefighters were able to conduct back-firing operations assisting with securing the fire perimeter. Througout the day firefighters will continue suppression efforts around the fire using both ground and air resources as conditions allow. Firefighters will strengthen and improve containment lines while also patrolling the interior of the fire to extinguish the hot spots that still exist.
