Updated: 5 days ago — The #OwlCreekFire located near Spring Creek, Nevada, and started at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday, Aug.30 on private land and moved onto the Mountain City-Ruby Mountains-Jarbidge Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. It is south of Lamoilla Canyon. Fire officials ask the public to please stay out the vicinity of the Pleasant Valley Road near the Spring Creek Association campground and shooting range complex due to fire operations. These facilities are closed until further notice.
