**This is the final update on this fire unless there is significant change in the days ahead** The fire is demonstrating minimal creeping and smoldering.
Monitor the East side of the fire via remote camera from Waterton Lake. Maintain communication and coordination with Parks Canada.
Projected Incident Activity
24 hours: Mostly clear. Max RH of 72-77% will keep fire behavior minimal. Mostly cloudy with a less than 10% chance of precipitation. Max temperatures will be 53-58 degrees with RHs in the low 40s. SW winds at 5-10 mph.
Parks Canada and U.S. fire managers are coordinating efforts closely and are in constant communication about fire activity and response.
Partial area closures have lifted. The Boundary Creek drainage and area west of Waterton Lake remain closed to the public.
Transfer of command to Sampson's IMT2 occurred at 6pm on 9/18.
