Assigned resources: Excavators: 2; Helicopters: 1; Total Fire personnel: 23 Fire personnel continue to conduct fireline rehabilitation and repair to roads in the fire area. Yesterday the fires received precipitation. Tomorrow management of these fires will be transferred from a Type 3 to a Type 4 incident management organization. Road and area closures will be lifted tonight at midnight. Officials advise people to use caution while traveling in the fire area as there are still fire personnel and heavy equipment working. Also, avoid the burned areas as there is still active fire and many fire weakened trees within the interior. Additionally, there have been multiple black bear and grizzly bear sightings in the area, visitors are advised to take precautions by storing all attractants appropriately and to carry bear spray.
