This morning the fire is 94 percent contained and is holding at 68,869 acres. Crews have been able to secure a number of sections of containment line. They are working today to secure and widen the remaining sections of the line.Great Basin Incident Management Team 4, led by Type 3 Incident Commander Billy Britt, will transition on Sunday to a local Type 4 team, which will continue to patrol the fire. The public should expect to see smoke from this fire for some time because there are still areas well inside the fire perimeter that will continue to burn and smolder.
